Data collection on this website
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. The relevant contact details can be found in the legal notice and further below in this privacy policy.
Some data is collected when you provide it to us, for example through the contact form or by email. Other data is processed automatically by the IT systems used when you visit the website. This includes, in particular, technical connection and access data.
What do we use your data for?
Some data is required to provide the website reliably and securely. Information submitted through contact enquiries is used to process and respond to your request and, where necessary, to initiate or carry out a business relationship.

Subject to the applicable statutory requirements, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external hosting provider. In the course of hosting, IP addresses, technical access data, communication data and information you submit via the website may be processed. Data protection
We treat personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection law. Please note that data transmitted over the internet can in principle be exposed to security risks and that complete protection against access by third parties cannot be guaranteed.
Withdrawal of consent
If processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to object
If personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right, subject to the statutory requirements, to object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object at any time to the processing of personal data for direct marketing purposes.
Right to lodge a complaint

Access, rectification, erasure and restriction
Within the scope of applicable law, you have the right to obtain information about personal data stored about you and, where applicable, to request rectification, erasure or restriction of processing.

Where the statutory requirements are met, you have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract in a commonly used, machine-readable format or, where technically feasible, to have it transferred to another controller.
4. Data collection on this website
Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider may process technically necessary information in server log files. This may include browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request and IP address. This data is used in particular to provide the website securely, reliably and without technical errors.
Contact form
If you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we process the information you provide — in particular your name, email address, company, selected topic and message — in order to handle and respond to your request. Depending on the content of the enquiry, processing may be necessary to take pre-contractual steps, perform a contract or pursue our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
We retain the information only for as long as necessary to process the request, unless statutory retention obligations or an ongoing business relationship require longer storage.
Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your request. The legal basis depends on the nature of the enquiry and may in particular be pre-contractual measures, a contractual relationship or our legitimate interest in communicating with customers and prospective customers.
AI-assisted project assistant / pre-discovery
The website may use an AI-assisted project assistant to understand freely written project descriptions, take account of information already provided in the conversation, ask relevant follow-up questions and generate a short pre-discovery report at the end. Use of the assistant is voluntary; you can also contact us through the regular contact channels.
AI processing is performed through a server-side interface. When the AI connection is enabled, the project information required for the dialogue is transmitted to Mistral AI, 15 rue des Halles, 75001 Paris, France. Technical processing is carried out through the regional endpoint provided by Mistral AI for the European Union. Contact details such as your name, email address and telephone number are requested only after the pre-discovery stage in a separate form and are not required for the AI analysis. In addition, common email-address and telephone-number patterns that are accidentally entered into the free-text dialogue are redacted server-side, where technically detectable, before the model is called.
The processing is intended to structure business enquiries and prepare for a possible initial discussion with a member of our team. Depending on the content of the enquiry, processing may in particular be necessary to take pre-contractual steps or may be based on our legitimate interest in handling project enquiries efficiently and in a way that reflects the customer’s needs. The generated report is a non-binding initial assessment. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is made solely by automated means.
To make started pre-discovery conversations traceable, the conversation content exchanged with the assistant is logged server-side once you send a message. Technical status data for the session may also be stored, such as the entry context, progress reached, continuation or abandonment, and report or contact status. This applies even if the conversation is not completed through to a report or contact request. A technically necessary random session identifier is used solely to associate messages with the same conversation and expires after no more than 24 hours. The application does not store an additional IP address in this conversation archive. The logs are accessible internally only and are deleted automatically after no more than 30 days. Standard server log files maintained by the hosting provider are unaffected.
For API use, Mistral AI states that inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring unless Zero Data Retention is enabled for the account used. Regional processing and Zero Data Retention are separate settings. Despite use of the EU regional endpoint, the provider states that individual service providers may in exceptional cases be used outside the European Union; appropriate safeguards under Article 46 GDPR are intended to apply in such cases.
Local storage of pre-discovery progress
If you explicitly choose “Save progress”, the current pre-discovery state is stored for up to seven days exclusively in your browser’s local storage so that you can continue on the same device and in the same browser. Contact details entered later in the contact form are not stored as part of this local progress state. Saving progress by itself does not transmit that state to B2B Contacting or to an analysis service. The local state is deleted after a successful enquiry is submitted; expired states are discarded the next time the site is opened.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
The current website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services and does not set cookies that are not technically necessary. If the technical scope of the website changes, this privacy policy will be updated accordingly.
